Writing Rooms is a London based music production company founded in 2015 by award nominated Producer and Songwriter, Louis Souyave. Louis is a former member of the band Daytona Lights and for several years, worked alongside record producer Steve Levine (Beach Boys, The Clash and Culture Club).
Since Writing Rooms' inception, we have expanded our services from production and writing for artists, to also include full recording and mixing. We also offer bespoke composition for advertising, film & TV. Our original compositions and recordings have been used internationally by HBO, Sky Sports, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, MTV amongst many others. Recently, thanks to our relationship with Sony ATV/EMI we recently had tracks placed in several BBC documentaries, the Channel 4 show 'Humans' and the new 'Need For Speed' game. Additionally Louis was nominated for Best Trailer Music at the Production Music Awards 2018 for his collaboration with Cavendish Music, Harry Lightfoot and Sabrina Altan.
Collaboration is at the heart of any great creative endeavour. With that in mind we have built a trusted pool of professional songwriters, composers, engineers and session musicians, who can be called on for their specialist skills. Our collaborative spirit has seen the artists we work with featured on BBC Introducing, 6 Music and Radio 1.
We know that due to the nature of music, no two projects are the same so we always tailor our services to match your project. So, whether you're an artist, label, publisher, music supervisor or ad agency, we're here to help. Just drop us a line for a chat.
